EVERYONE knows how difficult it can be to juggle modern life, work, family and pets. We know our dogs require much attention and daily exercise to stay fit and healthy too. How many of us really have the time or the ability to walk and spend time with our beloved dogs, as often as we should?
K9 Good Care, a fully insured, registered dog walking service in Worthing prides itself on such a facility. They can take you dog for country walks and socialising daily or weekly. K9 is vet recommended. A specially adapted van with safety and comfort in mind for your dog is used. It sounds ideal, but how do you know it is the dog walking/care service for you?
Nikki, the owner of K9 Good Care started the business after her rescued NCDL German Shepherd suffered a traumatic accident with a local dog walker whilst she was at work. Nikki said "whilst my dog was in intensive care at Grove Lodge and not knowing if he would survive the accident, I thought what could I do to help him?"
"I decided the best thing I could do was always insure his care and safety in the future and that of any other dog I came in contact with, so I decided to start K9 Good Care". I have a degree and had a career" says Nikki, "but my love of dogs was just much greater". " It was easy to make the decision to give up my job and work full time with my beloved dogs".
"My Mission is to be your dogs very best alternative when you are away. My service is aimed at the dog/puppy owners that want more than just a dog walking service, they want the safety of their dog guaranteed as much as humanly possible. They want their dogs to have the best possible care, as if they were walking and caring for them themselves! All of my dogs/puppies are treated as if they are my own. I spend individual time with each dog on each walk".
Nikki, having been a dog owner for twelve years as well as rescuing dogs, has gained considerable experience in caring for dogs of all breeds. K9 Good Care promotes safe walking practices, never walking more than 5 dogs at any given time. They also provide a mobile day care service sitting and feeding your animals as well as a pet taxi for owners that are not always able to transport their pets. Nicola said "I am amazed at the response I have received including customers approaching me as far away as Horsham because they cannot find the caring service they are looking for."
Since I have started I have various customers transfer to my service from other dog walking companies in the area. Mainly they are looking for a superior care and safety for their dogs, which I at K9 Good Care can offer them.
